We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs.
- Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and other routes while following aseptic techniques and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and specialized treatments like botulinum toxin therapy or ostomy care.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as PCC; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and basic laboratory testing; interpret results for clinical decision-making.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, pain management, and chronic disease management including dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
- Assist in triage assessments in urgent care or emergency medicine environments; prioritize patient needs based on acuity levels.
- Support infection control practices and adhere to NCQA standards for quality healthcare delivery across all patient interactions.
- Work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges in specialized settings like memory care or assisted living facilities.
Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including PCC/POC
- Background working in diverse healthcare settings including hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, home care, hospice & palliative medicine, or long-term care facilities like nursing homes or assisted living communities.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and diagnostic evaluation techniques necessary for comprehensive patient assessment.
Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
