Simsbury Public Schools is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to serve as Substitute Custodians. Substitute custodians provide custodial support on an as-needed basis, helping to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming learning environments for students, staff, and visitors when regular custodial staff are absent.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a team, and are looking for a flexible work schedule.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous custodial, facilities, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Ability to operate custodial equipment and use cleaning products safely.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean and safe facilities.

Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
