Join us as a Project Management Office (PMO) Engineering Professional at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Gas Services NA business and drive activities that directly impact business results! In this role, you will develop commercial policies for our fleet and ensure consistent application through documentation and communication throughout the organization. Your insights and knowledge of engineering and commercial topics will be vital in optimizing our business results.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Develop and implement commercial policies for engineering issues within our supported service fleet, ensuring consistent application through process documentation.

Represent PMO interests at relevant technical review meetings, ensuring commercial considerations are addressed.

Generate business case funding requests to support program planning and supply timely cost impact analyses to management and finance.

Lead the development and rollout of innovative tools and processes to enhance project management efficiency.

Track commercial risks and opportunities, supporting the creation of risk registers for individual projects.

Drive cost reduction initiatives by reviewing technical inputs and analyzing impacts on service business models.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.

8+ years’ experience in a related technical field, showcasing the skills necessary to perform outlined responsibilities, along with a strong knowledge of combined cycle power plant maintenance, operation, and large gas turbines.

Ability to utilize AI and data tools for analyzing large datasets to identify fleet issues.

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to gain consensus, drive solutions across multiple organizations, effectively communicate status and issues to executive leadership, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

Programming and data tool development skills are a plus.

Willing to travel 5% domestically and internationally.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
