- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring equipment.
- Identify and document nonconforming product.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Partner with production to ensure customer quality requirements are consistently met.
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives throughout manufacturing.
- Previous Quality Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Height Gauges
- Dial Indicators
- Other precision inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Experience inspecting precision machined components.
- CNC machining or Swiss machining manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
- Experience with CMMs, vision inspection systems, line audits, or other advanced inspection equipment is a plus but not required.
- Candidates with strong inspection fundamentals who are eager to learn advanced quality systems are encouraged to apply.
