We are seeking a dynamic and organized Development & Events Manager to join our team. You will work closely with the Director of Development. This role is vital in fostering community relationships, planning and executing events, and enhancing our organization's visibility and reputation. Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including fundraisers, community outreach programs, and special gatherings.
- Assist in event logistics such as venue selection, catering arrangements, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
- Provide exceptional guest services during events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
- Track and evaluate event outcomes to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, sponsors, vendors, and partners.
Experience
- Proven experience in event marketing, planning, within nonprofit sectors is highly desirable.
- Background in banquet management, catering coordination, or guest services is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience in fundraising activities or community outreach programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including event management software and social media marketing tools. Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
