Job Overview
The FOH Manager serves as the conductor of the dining room. They bridge the gap between the guests, service team, and the kitchen to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The role balances sharp operational thinking with real human connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Train FOH staff (hosts, servers, bussers, bartenders). Set performance expectations, conduct appraisals, and provide continuous coaching and motivation.
- Shift Management & Floor Flow: Organize and supervise daily shifts. Ensure steady service flow, order accuracy, and speed of service.
- Guest Relations: Continuously touch tables, build guest relationships, and handle any complaints promptly with empathy. Manage the restaurant reservation system.
- Environment Control: Maintain the vibe of the dining room and patios (lighting, music, temperature, and cleanliness.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role.
- Skills: Proficiency in POS and reservation software, strong financial/math aptitude, and conflict resolution skills.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding interpersonal communication, organizational detail, and leadership presence under high-paced, stressful conditions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Other Roles and expectations: Assist in inventory, ordering and scheduling. Help Social media staff gather pictures of food, drinks, events etc.
Pay Range is 45-55k a year, PTO, Benefits
