We are currently hiring a full-time Sales Assistant in the Milwaukee area.
This is an in-person, face-to-face retail sales position supporting a residential energy campaign inside established retail locations. Sales Assistants work directly with customers to explain available residential sustainability services, plan options, rates, and enrollment opportunities and assist eligible customers who choose to enroll in available services.
The primary focus of this position is customer acquisition and sustainability service enrollments. Representatives actively approach and engage customers inside assigned retail locations, provide accurate information regarding available energy options, answer customer questions, and guide interested customers through the enrollment process.
This position offers a guaranteed base pay of $900 per week plus uncapped commission opportunities based on individual sales and enrollment performance.
Previous energy or sales experience is not required. Paid training is provided.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant, you will:
- Work face-to-face with customers inside assigned retail locations
- Approach and engage shoppers to introduce available residential energy services
- Educate customers on available energy plans, service options, rates, programs, and enrollment opportunities
- Explain program details, pricing, eligibility requirements, and enrollment information clearly and accurately
- Ask questions to understand individual customer needs
- Conduct needs-based sales presentations using provided product and sales training
- Answer customer questions regarding available energy services and programs
- Assist eligible and interested customers through the sales, application, and energy enrollment process
- Accurately collect and process required customer enrollment information
- Generate new customer acquisitions and energy service enrollments
- Maintain current knowledge of available energy programs, rates, services, and promotions
- Follow required enrollment procedures and campaign guidelines
- Track individual sales and enrollment activity
- Work toward established daily and weekly performance goals
- Maintain professional and positive customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing product, compliance, customer service, and sales training
- Collaborate with team members and management to achieve campaign objectives
This position is performed in person inside established retail locations and involves actively approaching and engaging customers regarding residential energy services and enrollment opportunities. It is not a remote, office-based, door-to-door, telecommunications, or cold-calling position.
Schedule

- Approximately 40 hours per week

Qualifications
Candidates should:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Be comfortable approaching and speaking with customers face-to-face
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be interested in developing experience in sales, energy services, and customer acquisition
- Be comfortable working toward individual sales and enrollment goals
- Be coachable and willing to learn energy service information and sales presentations
- Be comfortable standing and moving throughout scheduled retail shifts
- Have reliable transportation for required local travel
- Maintain a professional attitude when representing energy services
- Be available for a full-time retail schedule, including weekends as required
Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, sales, energy services, promotions, or other customer-facing positions is helpful but not required.
