Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within company policy and post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, operational areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document site activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.

Support personnel, visitors, and contractors with directions, information, and reporting of security-related concerns while maintaining professionalism during routine and emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
