Vice President, Facilities Management Operations – K-12 Schools

Can’t Miss Talent has been retained to identify an exceptional Vice President of Facilities Management Operations to lead a large-scale K-12 schools facilities portfolio for a nationally recognized organization experiencing significant growth.
This is not a role for someone who simply maintains operations.
We are looking for an executive who builds high-performing teams, strengthens client partnerships, drives operational excellence, develops future leaders, and knows how to turn strategy into measurable results.
This executive will provide strategic leadership across a major business segment, overseeing a team of approximately 10 direct reports and influencing a broader organization across multiple markets.
THE OPPORTUNITY

- Build succession plans and strengthen the organization's leadership pipeline

You should have demonstrated success:
- Leading large, complex or geographically dispersed operations
- Managing and developing senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Driving measurable improvements in operational performance
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
- Leading through growth, change and organizational complexity
- Developing talent and creating meaningful succession plans
- Translating data and business insights into action
- Establishing accountability while building an engaged, performance-driven culture
Experience within facilities management, K-12/education services, outsourced services, contract management, integrated facilities services or another complex multi-site operating environment is highly relevant.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of management experience
- 10+ years of relevant operational leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading large and/or cross-functional teams
- Strong executive communication and consultative skills
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support
