JOB SUMMARY
The Documentation Specialist will assist the Residential Program Coordinators in a variety of tasks. The main objective is to ensure that all documentation is with in compliance including but not limited to service documentation (contact notes), Corporate Compliance Checklists, and customer records.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18yrs of age
Must have a high school diploma
Must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to foster communication, cooperation, and problem solving between people
- Ability to promote quality assurances by developing, organizing, and maintaining systems of accountability
- Understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Utilize tools specific to training staff
- Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule to meet the needs of staff and customers
- Must be organized and able to multi-task well
Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote teamwork and build morale
- Review, organize, and file contact notes and corporate compliance checklists
- Provide training to middle managers and staff on how to complete all documentation effectively and efficiently so that documentation is with in compliance
- Develop and maintain organizational processes
- Complete census for residential site customers
- Assist with Corrective Action Plans, Chart Completion, and Contact Note Training
- Assistance in creating forms for various tracking purposes
- Update Program Coordinators regularly regarding overall documentation processes and systems, and staff performance
- Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the Records Management Specialist
- Collaborate with the Regional Quality Assurance team
- Collaborate with the Electronic Health Records Implementation Specialist for training purposes
Pay: $17.50 per hour
