Join our transportation team as a CDL Paratransit Bus Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals with mobility challenges, seniors, and students. As a CDL Paratransit Bus Driver, you will operate specialized vehicles designed for accessibility, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate paratransit vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to transport passengers efficiently and comfortably.
- Assist passengers with disabilities or mobility challenges by providing wheelchair assistance and ensuring secure boarding and disembarking procedures.
- Respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments by adapting driving strategies to maintain schedule integrity.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using effective communication skills in English or multilingual formats when necessary.
Experience
- Familiarity with transportation safety regulations at the state and local levels governing commercial driving laws.
- Experience working with diverse passenger populations such as children, seniors, or individuals requiring special assistance is highly desirable.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities effectively.
Pay: $1,005.00 - $1,520.00 per week
