Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to pick, pack, load, and unload shipments efficiently and safely
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks with precision to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Stock shelves and organize inventory using proper packaging techniques for safe storage and transportation
- Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents and preparing items for dispatch or storage
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and other tracking tools
- Support warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks, unloading incoming shipments, and ensuring proper placement of stock
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes
- Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks and pallet jacks is highly preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, and MRP software for inventory control
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipment quantities accurately
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards and attention to detail
