Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Hotel Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across all segments. Duties
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with hotel objectives to maximize revenue across corporate, leisure, group, and event segments.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, corporate partners, event planners, and travel agencies to expand market share.
- Oversee outside sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud to track client interactions, analyze sales data, and generate reports for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that promote hotel amenities and special offers to attract diverse customer segments.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Analyze sales analytics & reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies proactively for continuous growth.
Requirements
- Proven management experience leading sales teams within a corporate or hospitality environment with a focus on business development management.
- Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, enterprise selling, and technical sales experience related to SaaS or technology solutions is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with sales management systems such as Salesforce CRM system proficiency; experience with SalesForce Cloud preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals through strategic planning and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer relationship building skills coupled with outstanding communication and client negotiation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in using sales analytics & reporting tools to inform decision-making processes.
- Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration across departments including marketing, operations, and finance.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing sales strategy or development teams at an executive level; team development skills are essential.
- Business development experience within a corporate or enterprise setting; ability to manage large accounts effectively.
- Exceptional analysis skills for assessing market trends and competitor activity; adept at leveraging data for strategic advantage.
