Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere from the moment they step in
- Assist with food presentation and ensure breakfast items are replenished promptly, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards throughout service
- Serve beverages and assist guests with menu selections
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions and manage weight handling in the workplace when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering to food safety management protocols
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background preferred, especially in fine dining or banquet settings
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and catering environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic culinary techniques is beneficial
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace safely and efficiently
- Barista experience or dietary aide experience is considered a plus for this role
