Heartline Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Veterinarian opportunity with a private practice in the Boston area.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Oversee a state-of-the-art veterinary facility in the Boston area
- Work alongside veterinarians and additional hospital staff members
- Provide full-time veterinary care in a private practice setting
- Support growth of the veterinary team as the facility expands
- Opportunity to grow into a Director of Operations role managing multiple facilities
- Facility is expected to eventually open 7 days per week
ROLE
- Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets, primarily dogs and cats
- Treat patients surgically and medically
- Collaborate within the veterinary ecosystem and communicate with referring veterinarians
- Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training
- Work with the Regional Operations Manager and Hospital Manager to maintain high standards of care
- Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well-pet care
- Perform dentals
- Contribute to an enjoyable workplace for staff, clients, and pets
- Manage time, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
