Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable male caregiver to provide non-medical in-home assistance for a client in need of support. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, companionship, light housekeeping, and other supportive services to ensure the client’s comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage the client in conversation and activities.
- Assist with personal care needs (grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, etc.).
- Prepare and serve meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning living areas, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
- Assist with errands and escort to appointments as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor or care coordinator.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and hours worked.
- Follow all agency policies, confidentiality requirements, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred (non-medical).
- Ability to assist with light physical tasks and mobility support.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must pass background check and provide professional references.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- Respectful, patient, and committed to maintaining the dignity of the client.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with transfers for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when assisting the client.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
