Property Field Adjuster
EIG Claims Services seeks experienced Property Field Adjusters to perform on-site property inspections and documentation on a 1099 independent contractor basis.
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in producing accurate, complete, and objective field documentation.
Applicants must reside within the required geographic region.
Position Responsibilities
As a Property Field Adjuster, your primary responsibility will be to observe, inspect and document property conditions and reported damage.
Responsibilities may include:
· Conducting on-site inspections of residential and/or commercial properties.
· Documenting observed property conditions, damage, and areas of concern.
· Taking comprehensive photographs and other appropriate visual documentation.
· Recording measurements and relevant property details.
· Identifying and documenting the apparent location, type, and extent of observed damage.
· Speaking with the property owner, occupant, or designated representative as necessary to facilitate the inspection.
· Completing inspection assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
· Maintaining professional communication and conduct while representing EIG Claims Services in the field and its carrier clients.
Qualifications
Prior experience performing property inspections, insurance field inspections, independent adjusting, construction, restoration, or a related field.
Familiarity with residential and/or commercial property construction and common building components.
Ability to accurately identify and document visible property damage and conditions.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to take clear, comprehensive photographs and video.
Ability to obtain accurate measurements.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned properties.
Smartphone with a reliable camera and internet/data access.
Ability to independently manage assignments and submit required documentation.
Professional communication and customer-service skills.
Appropriate licensing or credentials where required.
Independent Contractor Requirements
You must operate as an independently established business or trade and be able to provide inspection services independently.
Contractors are responsible for providing their own:
Transportation
Equipment
Business expenses
Insurance
Taxes
Business registrations and licenses, where applicable
You may accept assignments from other companies and clients, subject to applicable confidentiality, contractual, and legal requirements.
Pay: From $90.00 per hour
