Maintenance Manager-Manufacturing
Location: Cincinnati, OH (On-site)
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and leading maintenance teams in a 24/7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the plant maintenance department, including supervisors, planners, and technicians.
- Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Oversee CMMS utilization, maintenance planning, scheduling, and storeroom management.
- Manage shutdown planning, CAPEX projects, and mobile equipment programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and mentor maintenance personnel, including apprenticeship programs.
- Collaborate with union representatives to effectively resolve workforce issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, CMMS, industrial controls, and equipment reliability.
- Experience with shutdown planning and capital projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including on-call responsibilities and planned shutdowns.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
