The Role:
Support recruiting and onboarding efforts by streamlining hiring processes, enhancing the candidate experience, and partnering with hiring teams to attract, hire, and successfully onboard top talent.
- Maintain and manage the talent acquisition process and systems.
- Build a pipeline to meet the talent needs of the organization, including but not limited to outreach to potential active and passive candidates via job fairs, technical schools, colleges, high schools, state/federal agencies, online, social networking or in person.
- Complete phone screens and initial interviews for divisional roles and other roles as needed
- Responsible for divisional full onboarding process and ensuring a proper handoff to the sites as needed.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process by monitoring onboarding effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance new hire engagement and retention.
- Partner with site leadership regularly to understand current talent gaps, organizational changes and quickly adjust recruiting plans to prioritize business needs accordingly.
- Travel to manufacturing locations to conduct recruiting process audits by evaluating site recruiting and onboarding practices against established recruiting standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Approach role with an analytical/data-driven mindset to track and identify areas of improvement.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You Bring (Qualifications and Experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree or one (2+) plus year related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization; or equivalent combination of the two.
- 3+ years recruiting experience; in manufacturing or agency required
- Proven track record in high-volume + skilled trade recruiting
- Strong tenure—consistent career progression
- Tech-savvy: MS Office, ATS systems, reporting tools
- High discretion with confidential information
- Elite time management + prioritization in a multi-site environment
- Confident communicator—able to influence from plant floor to leadership
