Kuts and Kleans is hiring an experienced Utility Laborer to support water and wastewater utility work on active job sites. This is a hands-on field position assisting crews with underground utility installation, repair, trench work, pipe handling, site prep, backfill, compaction, and cleanup.
Applicants must have prior utility experience, preferably with water lines, sewer lines, underground pipe installation, excavation, trench work, or municipal/residential utility construction. The right candidate will understand basic jobsite safety, be comfortable working around heavy equipment, and be ready to perform physical labor outdoors.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with water and wastewater line installation and repair
- Dig, grade, backfill, and compact trenches
- Handle pipe, fittings, tools, and materials
- Spot equipment operators and work safely around machinery
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Follow crew leader instructions and utility safety procedures
Requirements:
- Prior utility, water, sewer, or underground construction experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
