Adecco is hiring immediately for PIT Operator jobs for a Client in Brookshire, TX. Weekly pay starting at $24.00-$27.00 per hour and competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). In this role, you will operate powered industrial trucks such as sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to safely transport, load, unload, and stack materials in high-density and elevated storage areas. You will also use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and ensure accuracy, perform pre-shift equipment inspections, report issues, and handle basic maintenance, while following OSHA safety standards and keeping a clean, organized, high-traffic work environment.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of forklift or material handling experience in a fast-paced logistics or warehouse environment, along with a valid driver’s license. Candidates should have experience operating Walkie Rider, stand-up lift, sit-down lift, and stand-up with slip sheet equipment, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while performing frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout shifts. Additional qualifications include proficiency with RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems, strong attention to detail, communication skills, and basic math ability, as well as the ability to work overtime when required and remain comfortable in warehouse or cold storage environments.
