Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Truck Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, and industrial equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery, including tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment, utilizing your extensive mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and service manuals.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, wheel alignments, and HVAC system servicing.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed; ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance.
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics with a focus on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, HVAC units, suspension systems, and tire service.
- Experience operating heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members about repairs needed or completed.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance procedures.
