About the Role
The Data Coordinator III will independently manage the responsibilities for a specialized area, collaborating with groups both inside and outside the department, providing assistance with requests in this area. They will monitor and process data submissions which provide hospitals with a resource for price negotiations, capital budgeting, and product utilization monitoring. They will synthesize information drawn from various Staritas internal databases and external sources, including vendors, manufacturers, and information services, to ensure that vendor, manufacturer, and category information in the database is accurate. They will collaborate with groups both inside and outside the department to provide assistance with requests. The coordinator will also assist with group responsibilities such as training new team members and managing daily interaction with clients.
Essential Functions

Synthesize information drawn from various Staritas internal databases and external sources, including vendors, manufacturers, and information services, to ensure proper standardization of incoming data (capital, pharmacy, services, supply).

Review work for completeness, quality, and compliance with established standards.

Anticipate personal workload and develop solutions and plan accordingly, well in advance of any deliverable need.

Communicate project completion or project delays directly to clients, verbally or in writing. Communications should be clear, concise, and well-formed.

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients by routinely keeping them informed of project status and developments.

Approve data standardizations and provide client deliverables, as needed.

Exceptional time management, prioritization, and critical thinking skills; participate in and manage multiple simultaneous activities in an effective manner.

Ability to work well with technical and non-technical individuals to assist with data submission process.

Act as a resource for other Staritas projects outside of data processing, as requested.

Conduct all projects and responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Collaborate with groups both inside and outside the Business Data Science, Operations, and Insights department to provide assistance with requests in specialized areas of oversight.

Demonstrate independent thinking with a clear, logical line of reasoning; issues are well thought out and clearly presented.

Orient and assist with training new team members as requested. Participate in the testing of new data processing applications as needed; make recommendations on ways to improve aspects of data standardization.

Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of items stored in Staritas databases as requested.

Demonstrate an understanding of all functions of the Staritas data maintenance tools.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all functions of the Staritas data ingestion and standardization tools.

Demonstrate an understanding of the flow of data through Staritas databases. Must be able to communicate this flow to clients and colleagues as needed.

Monitor and process data submissions as needed for priority clients to provide a resource for price negotiations.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Computer Science, is preferred for this position, but an Associate's degree with relevant work experience will be considered.

Two (2) years of recent experience in healthcare, supply chain or customer service

Good interpersonal skills are essential, as is a willingness to take on new tasks as they arise.

Strong time management skills are necessary to manage the various ongoing tasks assigned and ensure successful and timely completion

Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Strong knowledge of MS Windows/Outlook

Travel
Up to 10% travel, based on business needs. While our roles are 100% remote, we do get together a few times a year for up to one week. Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected.

Pay Transparency Statement
Staritas posts compensation ranges and benefits for all open roles. The compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
