Job Title: Medical Scheduler/Roomer
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling procedures and supporting medical staff in providing quality patient care.
Duties:
- Schedule patient for procedures accurately and efficiently
- Maintain electronic scheduling systems and update patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Rooming patients, taking vitals, review and update EHR information
- Follow through with patient orders including labs, radiology and scheduling procedures
Requirements:
- Must have medical experience
- Proven experience in a medical scheduling role
- Familiarity with medications, medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic health records
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
