Double L is looking for a Press Brake Operator / Fabricator to join our shop team. This position will focus on forming, fabricating, and helping build metal parts used in our manufacturing process.
We are looking for someone who has experience running a press brake or has a solid fabrication background and is willing to learn. The right person should be dependable, willing to work hard, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a press brake to bend and form metal parts
- Read and follow work orders, prints, measurements, and job instructions
- Measure parts using a tape measure, calipers, square, or other basic tools
- Check parts for accuracy and quality
- Assist with general fabrication work as needed
- Use grinders, hand tools, and other shop equipment safely
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate with supervisors when there are questions or issues with a job
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures
Qualifications:
- Press brake experience preferred
- Fabrication or metalworking experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read basic prints or willingness to learn
- Must be reliable and show up on time
- Must be physically capable of lifting, standing, bending, and working in a shop environment
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Welding experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to work safely around equipment and other employees
Schedule:
Full-time position. 6am-4pm Monday through Thursday, 6am-1pm on Friday
