Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product selections
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation
- Stock inventory regularly, monitor product levels, and assist with inventory counts
- Support supervising staff during busy periods and assist in training new team members when needed
- Clean the store
- Accept and check deliveries
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or liquor stores
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide friendly, professional customer interactions
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hours
Monday and Thursday 9.00 am to 8.00 pm
Friday and Saturday 9.00 am to 9.00 pm
Sunday 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
Pay: $15.00 per hour
