As a Reservationist for Layton Classic Fun Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be setting up and managing reservations within the facility. This position requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Reservation Management:
- Receive and manage incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Provide accurate information about available activities, pricing, and scheduling options.
- Assist guests in selecting appropriate activities based on their preferences and needs.
- Efficiently book and confirm reservations, ensuring all necessary details are accurately recorded.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless scheduling and availability.
2. Customer Service:
- Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide information about the fun center's services, facilities, and policies.
- Offer assistance and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Strive to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
3. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Process payments and issue receipts for reservations.
- Assist with data entry, updating customer information, and generating reports.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and effective communication.
4. Facility Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the availability of facilities for scheduled activities.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to report any equipment malfunctions or issues.
- Communicate special requests, group bookings, and event details to the relevant staff.
- Ensure all necessary supplies and resources are available for scheduled activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using reservation software or booking systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
