Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for machine set up, routine maintenance, and basic repairs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections of machines, lines, and ovens.
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, and equipment, as necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stay on task to meet production requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Punctuality and dependability.
- must speak English or Bilingual (preferred)
Education and Experience:
- No education requirements.
- 2 years of proven machine maintenance experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repetitively for the duration of shift.
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of shift.
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment.
- Some exposure to latex and dust due to manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to use basic hand and power tools.
Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM.
