Boise Home Painting is seeking skilled lead painters and apprentices to join our team!
The ideal Lead painter candidate will have expertise in various painting techniques and possess leadership qualities to guide a team of painters effectively with professionalism and precision. A lead painter must have knowledge of the proper use of paint sprayer, power washer, and power tools as well as strong knowledge of color theory. Ability to read and interpret schematics is required.
The ideal apprentice will be able to efficiently carry out job set-up, preparation, maintenance, and clean-up procedures in a professional and workman like manner.
Duties for a Job lead
- Oversee and lead a team of painters in completing projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Must be on job site from start to finish. This position does not allow for running multiple jobs.
- Perform industrial painting tasks on various surfaces
- Use power tools for preparation and finishing work
- Sanding, scraping, and caulking surfaces.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate paint application
- Restore surfaces with attention to detail
- Report to Feild manager
-Come up with “game plan” to finish the job on time.
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance
-Order sufficient materials needed for the job in an efficient manner
-Must have clear understanding of job-site safety.
Duties for Apprentices
-To assist with set-up, preparation, maintenance, and clean-up procedures in service to the accomplishment of specific jobs.
- Exhibit team player qualities, including the ability to follow directions, good work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance
- Assist with job site set-up and clean-up; keep site clean and orderly throughout the
duration of the job
- Assist with preparation procedures, including covering surfaces, sanding, caulking,
sealing, etc.
- Learn basic painting functions (e.g. cutting in, rolling walls and ceilings)
- Acquire basic tools
-Report to Job lead and Field Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
