Now Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – IV Therapy (Mental Health Practice)
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing mental health practice. The ideal candidate will have IV Therapy certification, experience administering IV ketamine infusions a plus but not required, and a strong commitment to providing safe, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting. We are looking for the hours as follows, Monday & Thursday 9:30am to 5:00, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 1:00 to 5:00pm. No weekends or over nights.
Responsibilities:
- Administer IV therapies, including ketamine infusions, in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and state regulations.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after ketamine treatments, including assessing vital signs, mental status, and patient response.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to provide high-quality mental health care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, medication administration, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Current IV Therapy certification (required).
- Experience administering and monitoring IV ketamine infusions (required).
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (required).
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills.
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, infusion therapy, or a related specialty is preferred.
