Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young children during their critical early learning years. Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood education principles and developmental milestones for infants and preschoolers.
- Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and monitoring health and safety standards.
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Use positive behavior management techniques to guide children’s social interactions and foster respectful classroom behavior.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to their development or well-being.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health protocols, including first aid procedures, and best practices in childcare and early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages relevant to infants and preschoolers.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Must have ECE UNITS
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a nurturing learning environment.
- Experience with behavior management strategies tailored for young children.
- Familiarity with early childhood education curricula and teaching methods.
