Faithful Home Care Solutions is seeking experienced female caregivers who are reliable, compassionate, and available to work weekend shifts in the KOP area, including day and overnight coverage on Saturday and overnight on Sunday.
This role is ideal for caregivers who prefer 12-hour shifts with fewer working days, providing consistent, high-quality care to clients.
The Direct Care Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive, non-medical personal care services to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), safety monitoring, companionship, and accurate documentation.
Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, and hygiene maintenance
Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, feeding assistance, ambulation, positioning, and transfers
Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment (including Hoyer lift use as needed)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Support client independence according to the care plan
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures
Maintain strict client confidentiality
Communicate effectively with family members and the care team
Adhere to agency policies, professional standards, and state regulations
- Saturday: Day shift & overnight shift available | 7 am - 7 pm | 7 pm - 7 am
- Sunday: Overnight shift only | 7 pm - 7 am
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years related caregiving experience preferred
Experience with Hoyer lift transfers required
Experience with incontinence care required
