Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers the unique chance to move beyond traditional testing roles and take on a multifaceted position supporting academic, social, and emotional development. Psychologists will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to assess needs, develop targeted intervention plans, and foster positive mental health throughout the district.
What We’re Looking For:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or the willingness to quickly obtain MI licensure before your start date if you are coming from out of state)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Demonstrated skill in assessment procedures, intervention development, and effective communication
- Ability to collaborate successfully within a multidisciplinary team and support various school initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students in up to two school buildings (assignment made within a five-building district team)
- Support the creation and implementation of multi-tiered intervention plans
- Partner with staff and families to promote a safe, supportive, and healthy school climate
- Assist in duties beyond testing, providing expertise in mental health, academic planning, and crisis response initiatives
Work Details:
- Onsite, in-person schedule only
- 37.5 hours per week during regular school hours
- Full 2026–2027 academic year commitment
