Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of clients, particularly seniors or those with specific health needs. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients through personalized care and companionship.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient observation to identify any changes in health or behavior.
- Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, following proper protocols.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with hospice care as required, providing comfort and support to clients and their families during challenging times.
- Help clients with home community care tasks, including light housekeeping and errands.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary needs.
- Familiarity with monitoring vital signs and basic health assessments.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills to detect changes in client conditions.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and families.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans established by healthcare professionals.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation needs.

Pay: $17.20 - $20.00 per hour
