Riverton Cabinet Company, located in New Lenox, IL is hiring an individual to work in house with our production prep/audit department. Experience with Cabinet Vision is a must, other CAD-type cabinetry design program experience will be considered.
Primary duty of this position is to produce accurate drawings and cut lists for the CNC machine and other departments in the manufacturing facility. Duties also include verifying measurements and pricing of cabinetry and countertop drawings completed by sales staff prior to the start of the manufacturing process. The accuracy of the information submitted to the production area is critical to assure that the customer receives exactly what they ordered.
Knowledge of residential, industrial and commercial construction, particularly cabinetry is highly desired for candidates to be qualified for this position.
Additionally strong problem solving skills and a desire to come up with practical solutions is required. The ability to write and speak clearly and communicate effectively is mandatory. Some other success factors for the qualified candidate are excellent spatial and conceptual abilities, detail oriented, with individual drive and dedication and demonstrated commitment to excellence.
Salary is negotiable upon experience. Overtime is available after training is completed.
