Job Summary
( FOOD TRUCK) We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head Cook, to lead our food service operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee daily food preparation, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Your energetic approach will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while managing all aspects of prep work. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate food preparation activities, ensuring timely and accurate meal assembly in line with menu specifications.
- Oversee adherence to food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures across all kitchen areas.
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients, portioning dishes, and supporting special dietary requests as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, and overall dining environment to promote a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate specific dietary needs and assist with dietary aide tasks when required.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing food items, serving guests, and ensuring smooth operation from start to finish.
Skills
- Proven knowledge of meal planning and food handling protocols.
- Strong background in food industry settings such as restaurants or fine dining establishments with excellent culinary skills.
- Skilled in food preparation techniques including cooking, knife skills, and meal assembly for various cuisines.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
