Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, focusing on the creation of high-quality castings. This position requires a strong understanding of various machining processes and the ability to operate specialized equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Duties
- Follow instructions from the Casting Supervisor.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Cleaning up concrete/rebar
- Placing rebar correctly according to prints
- Cut, place, and tie rebar
- Adhere to all TBB safety standards and wear all required PPE.
- High safety considerations.
- Work irregular hours and overtime when required.
- Bring a positive attitude each day.
- Create a welcoming work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in casting or a related manufacturing field is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and plasma cutting processes.
- Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
