About the Opportunity
Sentinel Connector Systems is looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as a Tool Maker Apprentice. This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in precision manufacturing — no prior experience required.
You'll start with the fundamentals and progressively develop into the advanced skill sets that define a complete tool maker. This isn't a dead-end production role — it's a structured path from the basics of shop work all the way to mastering CNC machining, wire/Sink EDM, automation, and plastic injection mold building.

What You'll Learn and Do
- Learn the fundamentals of tool making, measurement, and shop practices from experienced journeyman tool makers
- Develop proficiency in wire and sink EDM machining — from setup and operation through advanced programming
- Train in plastic injection mold construction, maintenance, and repair
- Gain hands-on experience with automation systems and processes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Work with precision measuring instruments and quality standards
- Progress from basic tasks to complex, tight-tolerance work as your skills develop
