About Us
The Farm at Our House is a 12 acre certified organic mixed vegetable and small fruit farm located in Brookeville, MD. We aim to provide fresh produce at a fair price for residents of Montgomery County and the District of Columbia by offering a CSA, attending 3 farmers markets (Silver Spring, Bethesda, Dupont Circle) and selling to restaurants and institutional buyers. We embrace sustainable agricultural practices, care deeply about our carbon footprint, and work hard to create an equitable workplace where input from farm crew members is valued and hard work is compensated as fairly as possible given our economic constraints.
Mission
Our mission is to create a model of a certified organic farm that nourishes our community and land. We believe true sustainability means caring for our soil, our employees, and our community with equal measures.
