Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Once molding is removed from steel product, using tools to grind the product down to perfect it.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Required:
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position reports directly to the Cleaning Room Supervisor.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
This position does not directly supervise others.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
**All tools and equipment will be provided by Sawbrook Steel, including, but not limited to:
- Hand grinder
- Chipping hammer
- Die grinder
Requirements:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing for the duration of shift
- Bending, kneeling, squatting
- Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Not climate-controlled
- Foundry environment
