Objectives:
· The job entails driving a bus to and from field trips, extra-curricular activities or sporting events
· Operations drivers are not required to do daily to-and-from school student transportation
· Coaches, advisors or chaperones accompany the students on these trips
· Operations drivers are asked to work at least 3 days per school week
· Most sports trips leave after 1:00 pm and return in the evening
· Class trips are generally in the spring and can last all day, starting in the AM and returning for dismissal (2:00 – 5:00 pm)
Requirements:
· Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
· We will train you to get your Class B CDL with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus Endorsements
· Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
