Maine Distributors is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working independently while providing exceptional service to our retail partners throughout central, eastern, and northern Maine.
Maine Distributors is a family-owned beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage wholesaler that has proudly served Maine retailers since 1964. We represent many of the most recognizable brands in the industry, including Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Snapple, Polar Seltzer, Sparkling Ice, Poland Spring, Arizona, and many more.
This position is responsible for delivering products to grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and other retail accounts throughout our distribution territory. Deliveries are made using a combination of hand trucks, motorized pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Drivers are also responsible for collecting returnable beverage containers from redemption centers and retail accounts.
Our drivers enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, allowing them to be home nights and weekends with their families, while earning competitive wages and enjoying an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage products to retail accounts in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Unloading and stocking products in coolers, storage areas, and designated display locations.
- Collecting returnable beverage containers from customers and redemption centers.
- Ensuring products are delivered accurately and invoices are completed properly.
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with retail partners.
- Planning and executing daily delivery routes.
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Attending company meetings, safety trainings, and product education sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and delivery equipment.
- Previous beverage distribution or delivery experience is preferred but not required.
