Job Summary
Join our small team as a floating/seasonal employee. This position best fits individuals who have a part-time or full-time job elsewhere who may be available when our staff is on vacations, or extra staff is needed over the holidays. This role is primarily based at our Hagerstown MD Valley Mall location but may need assistance in our FSK Frederick Maryland.
This position is part-time with potential coverage for 6-9 paid hours per day, scheduling approximately 3 weeks at a time, however management may contact floater if last minute shift arises. This position could become part-time or full-time however it is not guaranteed.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized according to company standards
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with product replenishment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries in person while ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, and monitoring activity on the premises, and staying alert to potential issues, you’ll ensure a secure and positive environment for everyone
- Maintain store upkeep and cleanliness
Requirements
Weekend Availability-Preferred
- Prior experience in retail sales environments is preferred;
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stocking procedures
- Flexibility to work hours needed:
- Store open hours 11am-8pm Monday-Saturday 12pm-6pm on Sunday, holiday hours may vary.
