Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of deli foods with precision, ensuring freshness and presentation meet company standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
- Manage customer orders with excellent service, upselling products to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Assist in food handling, serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to prepare deli items quickly while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, fast food or quick service restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and safety management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Proven customer service experience with a friendly attitude and strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and register balancing
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
