Position Summary:
The part-time NP/PA will deliver high-quality, protocol-compliant care to clinical-trial participants, collaborating with Principal Investigators (PIs), study coordinators, and the wider Denali research team. This is an ideal role for a practitioner who enjoys hands-on patient interaction, evidence-based medicine, and a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform protocol-specified physical exams, medical histories, and study visits

Assess eligibility criteria and co-sign source documentation with the PI

Order and interpret labs / diagnostics per study requirements

Counsel participants on study procedures, investigational products, and adverse-event reporting

Manage and document AEs/SAEs, escalating to PI and sponsor as required

Maintain GCP-compliant source notes and electronic medical records

Support recruitment and retention initiatives (community outreach, phone screenings, etc.)

Participate in investigator meetings, SIVs, monitoring visits, and audits

Contribute to continuous improvement of site SOPs and quality metrics
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Currently, unrestricted GA license as NP or PA-C
-
National certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA)

BLS (ACLS preferred)
-
2+ years of direct patient-care experience (family practice, internal medicine, ER/urgent care, or wound care a plus)

Familiarity with—or strong interest in—clinical research and FDA/GCP guidelines

EMR proficiency and solid documentation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Sub-Investigator or treating provider in clinical trials

Spanish-speaking (or other community language)

Phlebotomy and IV skills

Note: The work schedule for this role is as follows:

Monday: Afternoon shift

Tuesday – Thursday: Full-day, on-site (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
