Job Title: Enrollment Specialist
Position Overview: The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for enrolling plan members into appropriate programs and initiatives based on their eligibility and specific needs. This role involves both outbound and inbound calls to assist in the enrollment process. Additionally, the Enrollment Specialist supports various operational tasks, ensuring that work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with company policies and guidelines. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with providers, members, and internal teams. The role also requires basic computer skills for running reports, drafting correspondence, and updating procedures and manuals. The Enrollment Specialist must consistently meet all departmental performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enroll plan members into suitable programs and initiatives, ensuring eligibility and appropriateness based on individual circumstances.
- Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to facilitate member enrollments.
- Perform various operational tasks, ensuring adherence to established policies, accuracy, and timeliness in all work.
- Communicate effectively with providers, members, and internal teams to resolve any issues and provide necessary information.
- Utilize basic computer skills to run reports, prepare correspondence, and update manuals and procedures as needed.
- Meet divisional standards for performance, including call handling, accuracy, and customer service.
Job Environment:
- Office or remote setting with occasional local travel within walking distance of the primary work location.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a customer service environment, OR two (2) years of college coursework (at least 48 credit hours) with one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment.
- Must pass the company’s Customer Service Assessment to demonstrate proficiency.
