APV is looking for a Low Voltage Technician for Northern Virginia. APV is the premiere commercial door & security provider in the region. You will work directly with our Security team taking service calls and installing security systems.
Job Title: Security Integration Technician

Territory:Northern Virginia
Pay Range: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour

About the Role:
- Install, program, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage electronic access control and video security systems and products.
- Install cabling for access and video systems.
- Read and understand floor plans and electrical diagrams.
- Mount system panels and devices.
- Wire circuits and electrical connections for access control and video security.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of integrated low voltage experience to include electrical wiring, electronics installation, and mechanical equipment installation.
- DCJS certified Electronic Security Technician.
- Desired: Experience or certification in AMAG, ACRE, Feenics, Cbord, Vanderbilt, Genea, Avigilon, Brivo or similar major access control, video security systems or vendors.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
- Driving record that meets operational and/or insurance requirements.
