Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per Educators Contract
Position Dates: 26-27 School Year
Work week: .6 FTE (Monday through Friday, 7:30 am -3:30 pm)
Student Level: Grades 9-12 at White Bear Lake Area High School
Position Summary:
White Bear Lake Area High School is seeking a .6 FTE Language Arts Teacher to support a diverse community of high school learners. The successful candidate will create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students develop essential skills and confidence through meaningful, engaging instruction. This role involves using a variety of teaching methods to meet student needs, helping all learners feel a sense of belonging, purpose, and capability. Work is performed under the supervision of the Principal, with occasional oversight of paraprofessionals or volunteers.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
Minnesota Teaching License Required.
BA or BS in English, Language Arts, or Literature
