The Cultivation Technician supports daily grow operations and cultivation practices to ensure high-quality plant production. This role involves hands-on plant care, adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Execute day-to-day assignments in coordination with grow operations and cultivation practices, including but not limited to general plant care, de-leafing and skirting, trellising/training plants, harvesting, cleaning, and data Input.
- Adheres to all SOPs, compliance, and safety standards.

Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.

Plant monitoring and care, focusing on the flower cycle but not limited to it. (i.e., Plant Maintenance, Canopy Health, Proper Fertigation, Scouting for pest/disease, etc.)

Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and bio-secure work environment.

Maintain and ensure proper storage and sanitation of all tools and equipment, including but not limited to shop vacs, pumps, hoses, carts, scissors, stools, totes, gloves, rags, and PPE gear.

Maintain daily record keeping. (i.e., Plant Waste, Destruction, Cleaning logs, etc.)

Other projects/tasks, as requested by the direct manager.

Must be willing and able to occasionally work a flexible schedule as the business needs demand, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Horticulture or cultivation experience preferred.

Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.

Ability to follow strict regulations, policies, and procedures.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong observational skills with the ability to identify plant health issues.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

This position requires a great deal of squatting, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.

This position requires extended, repetitive use of the arms, hands, and fingers to cut/manipulate small objects.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
-
Handling and mixing of chemicals: pesticides, fungicides, and sanitizers.
