Job Overview
The Fabrication Saw Department Operator is responsible for accurately cutting raw materials to specified dimensions using industrial saw equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. This position ensures materials are prepared correctly for fabrication processes and helps maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Duties
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience operating industrial saws is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable with good attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and walking.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
